Stone Paper and Watercolour

A couple of weeks ago I went to Boesner Oldenburg, one of my two local art supply stores (the other one is Plan B, a smaller one which I usually like to support).

Boesner is a chain and sells its own products, which are often a bit cheaper than the ones of traditional companies like Hahnemuehle etc.

One thing that was completely new to me is that paper can also be made of stone. It has a very smooth surface, perfect for ink drawings.

I also tried it with watercolour and lots of water and was able to create quite interesting effects.

A great asset is that the paper remains completely FLAT, no matter how much water you use with it.

So give it a try! Boesner Steinpapier
